EVERLASTINGS

Helichrysum is derived from the Anicent Greek words: ἥλιος (helios - sun) and χρῡσός (chrysos - gold). It consists of an estimated 600 species in the sunflower family. The growth of their bud into a fully blooming flower is the epitome of perfection in nature; the seeds grow at an angle of exactly 137,5° in the Fibonacci Spiral. What makes the helichrysum flower even more unique is that when it’s cut and dried, the blossomed flowers and stalks preserve their colour and shape for many years. Hence, they are often called everlasting or immortelle.
