Bunga Kembang Sepatu, the Indonesian name of the famous Hibiscus Shoeblack flower. In Hinduism, the red flower is often used to make offerings to worship the Goddess Mahakali, the feminine form of Shiva, the Destroyer. Mahakali is the mother Goddess of time, death, rebirth, and liberation. I feel it is important to acknowledge and understand both negativity and positivity in order to harmonise with the changing aspect of time and nature that brings death and life. Embracing the cycle of life will help guide our growth and transformation.
