Shridevi, or Dewi Sri, is the goddess of rice. Since rice is the staple food of Indonesians, she has the power over wealth and prosperity. Shridevi is commonly worshipped on the island of Bali and Java. The patterns on these pants are inspired by the rice panicles that symbolise this goddess. An ancient hand painting technique called, tie-dye, is used. It‘s been around since the 8th century and still continues to evolve today.

FABRIC: 90% MODAL, 10% SPANDEX

Lenzing Modal® fibres are eco-friendly, easy care, soft, and breathable. They are very durable and don‘t wrinkle easily. Modal fibres are celluloses that are extracted from the wood pulp of beech trees. Our fibres are knitted in Indonesia. Our dyes are from DyStar® which is certified by the Oeko-Tex Standard 100®. All fabrics have been pre-washed to minimise shrinkage and discolouring.
