TRUNYAN

Trunyan is the name of a mysterious village in Bali, Indonesia, that is separated by a lake and accessible only by boat. Unlike the typical Balinese, the people of Trunyan do not cremate or bury their dead, instead they lay them on the ground to decompose. The dead bodies don't produce a stench because of the perfumed scents from Taru Menyan trees growing nearby.

FABRIC: 100% COTTON

The high quality cotton fibres are knitted and dyed in a factory in Indonesia that works together with a sustainable Austrian company, Lenzing®. They have closed-loop, energy efficient, and advanced production processes. Our dyes are from DyStar® which is certified by the Oeko-Tex Standard 100®. All fabrics have been pre-washed to minimise shrinkage and discolouring.
