CILI

‘Cili’ is an effigy of the goddess, Dewi Sri, which the Balinese Hindu weave out of organic materials. Dewi Sri is the goddess of rice and since rice is the staple food for Indonesians, she often symbolises successful harvest, wealth, fertility, and prosperity. We don’t reap the harvest on the same day that we plant the seeds. Success demands patience, discipline, focus, and persistence.

FABRIC: 90% BAMBOO, 10% SPANDEX

Bamboo fabric is made from the pulp of the organic and fast growing bamboo grass. The fabric has many advantages, such as: its softness, UV resistance, hypoallergenic, and antibacterial properties. It’s also very breathable and helps the body to stay cool in summer and warmer in winter. All fabrics have been pre-washed to minimise shrinkage and discolouring.
